These are the 2 latest pages I have done.

A little bit late scrapping these pics, but like I've said before I don't scrap in any order, just what ever takes my fancy LOL

I have used Kaiser PP and I also used some little bits and pieces that I bought from a friends cool little facebook store Jules Gems. She has lots of little bits including metals, resin flowers, buttons and lots of other cool bits and pieces. Check it out!!

I cut most of the title with my cuttlebug and also used some Kaiser felt alphas.

This was a quick but pretty one, well I think so anyways.

A bit of glimmermist happenin' on there, some more Kaiser PP and bling, Thickers, I cut the butterflies with my cuttlebug oh and some Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alphas.

How cool is the photo though!! We were at the Butterfly House in Coffs Harbour and it just landed on my face. It was a bit hard to turn the camera to take a selfie and not scare away the butterfly, but I managed!!

Long time gone......

Hi there blog, long time no write!! I can't believe how long it's been since I was here. The time has just flown on by and here we are, almost 1 month gone in 2012 already!!
I have done some scrapping in my absence, I have been working and of course doing my most important job, being a mum!!
I have still been checking out everybody else's creations!!
I have a few pages to share....

I probably should have started by saying Happy New Year, but I'm saying now!!

Ummm...I'm still here

believe it or not!! I have been super busy for the last month or 2, I started a new casual job that takes up a little time and just the usual life stuff, it happens. I haven't scrapped much actually not at all until Friday just gone :0 But I do have some things to share.

These were the projects that we done at the Scrapsidaisy Retro Retreat, that was good fun!! 2 days of scrappy goodness.

First up was a 'Flooded Canvas' taught to us by the wonderfully talented Linda Baldock.

We made a mini book with Kim Archer. I love her style!

This is a super cool, chunky little book filled with all sorts of goodness.

We also received a challenge pack and had to create a LO using some of everything in it, but we could add stuff if we wanted. The papers are gorgeous (I just can't remember what they are) but I loved them. I won the challenge woo hoo!!

This is my LO about the 5kg Scrappers challenge that I participated in, I used my prize that I won for second place. I am still losing weight slowly, but I'm getting there.

and here is my latest creation. I have used the Echo Park, Springtime collection for this one. My 2 nieces and my baby girl. I love this photo, it's gorgeous!! I also used some Prima flowers, Kaiser stamps and bling, and Thickers for the title. Oh and some glimmermist on the background.

So I think I'm all caught up with everything I have created, I am hoping now that I have some sort of routine happening, I will be scrapping again and it won't be so long until my next post :) The months just flew by actually, I didn't even realise it had been so long, but anyways.

Some Echo Park LO's

Well the weather here is pretty miserable today, the first Monday of school holidays, sounds about right!

So anyways, just got 2 new LO's to share today, both using Echo Park PP. The first one I used the Little Girl range, perfect for this photo of my 2 girls. I have also used a Prima vine, some Basic Grey bling and a Kaisercraft stamp for the extra leaves on there. I used my Cuttlebug for the title (well "cuddle" anyways)

And I used the Springtime PP for this LO of my niece, she is such a gorgeous girl. I used stamps from The Girls' Paperie, some ZVA pearls, my own crocheted flower and I have used some pearl Glimmermist on the background.

And that's about it!

I am joining in the Kaisercraft Easter Bunny Blog Hop this week, my first one!! Should be good fun, the prize is awesome!!

A couple of LO's to share..

Well, I'm not exactly sure this first one is finished! I struggled with it for some reason, and thought "that will do" because it was driving me insane LOL it may end up with something else on it yet. I used MME Fine and Dandy PP and lots of little bits. The banner is WOW chipboard, some Prima lace and I have cut the journal square and frame on my cricut.

My cricut got a workout for this next LO. I decided I would use it for more than just the title!! Lots of machine stitching on there too. I used the Echo Park, Sringtime PP. Very gorgeous!! There's some ZVA bling on there and I cut up an old doily as well. Then when it was all finished Little Miss Lara climbed up at my desk and pulled the lid off an ink pad and dropped it on the LO!! So there's a little red patch on the title. Ahh well, that will teach me not to put the inks away.

And some exciting news for me!! I won the March 'Mix It Up' challenge from the Kaisercraft Newsletter. Wooo Wooo so awesome!! Here is the LO I entered. It's pretty much all Kaiser, except the cardstock and there is a Prima flower on there.

I did it!!

I made it to 5kg!!! Yaaaay Me!! 5.3kg to be exact. I have had the best week this week, I was super good and no alcohol and I have lost 1.6kg. I ate my fruit and drank my water again. Woo Hoo !!!! LOL

Here is before and after, I can see a difference in my face. Ryan says he can see other changes, but my eyes can't for some reason.

So I am up to 15kg altogether now, including the weight I have lost with Weight Watchers. If I compare this after photo with my "fat" photo, I can see a big change!!

I would really like to thank Karen and Nerrida at 5kg Scrappers Challenge, for the inspiration and also the other ladies who are participating. I'm too excited to wait and see what the little assignment is for this week, but I may come back and edit this post when it's up!!

Weigh - In Wednesday already!!

Wow the weeks go fast!!

I have been working hard this week too. I have lost 800g woo hoo!! I did stick to my mini goals I ate 2 pieces of fruit per day and I had at least 6 glasses of water everyday, a couple of days I made it to 8, but it's much better than I have been. I exercised everyday!! So my total loss is 3.7kg. I did do something that I wish I hadn't though!! I had four cans of rum on Friday night, this took me waaaaay over my daily points allowance on the Weight Watchers program. I had good intentions, I was just going to have 2, but I ♥ Rum!! LOL I did do some extra exercise to try and make up for it though.

And this is just because I was so proud of myself, I ran 20 mins non stop on the tread mill and worked up a sweat that I was proud of LMAO!! I said to Ryan "can you take a photo of my sweat" and he just looked at me like a nutcase, but he did it cause he loves me. I was going to stop at 10 mins but I just kept on going until I couldn't run anymore and then I walked for 10 mins, I felt good!!

I hope your weeks have been fabulous too!! Sorry no scrapping to share this week, I'm working on it though :)

I've been scrapping.......and my weekly weigh -in.

I was very happy with the fact that I have completed 2 LO's over the weekend. It doesn't sound like much, but it's a major achievement for me LOL. Lately I have been lucky to get 1 done a week, I don't know what came over me!! But anyways, the first one is about our dog, well his teddy actually. I got the LO idea for this one from my friends Jules, I used one of the Kaiser texture stamps (grunge, I think it was) and some paint on the background, then sewed around it making a frame, sort of. I like it! I used MME, Fine and Dandy, PP. Some buttons and for the title I used Thickers and also my cricut.

And this one is little Lara playing peek a boo. Such a cutie!! I used Kaiser, Magic Happens 6 x6 Paper pad on this LO. Purple again Yaaay!! I also used some of there paper roses and bling, some Prima flowers, Thickers for the title and some Glimmermist.

And because it's "Weight Loss Wednesday" here is my weight for this week. That's minus 500gms Yaaay!! A total of 2.9 now. It's coming off slowly....but it's coming off that's the main thing!!

This week at the 5kg Scrappers Challenge we are setting mini goals. I am setting 3 goals in 1, LOL, just little ones. But I would like to lose at least 500gms again next week so to get to that goal I am going to eat 2 pieces of fruit a day and make sure I have 6-8 glasses of water per day. I know I didn't do enough of either of these this week.

One Month Already!!

Wow that has gone really fast! It's been a month since I started the 5kg scrappers challenge. This week I have lost 800g so that brings my total to 2.4kg, nearly halfway!! I am really excited to be in the 80's instead of 90 something too.

So we have a little assignment this week, to print out a photo of the "Old You" or a before photo, and stick it to the fridge to remind yourself of how far you have come and what you don't want to be anymore! I am going to post mine here as well. It's a little blurry, that's Ryan's awesome photography skills LOL This was taken In December 2009 when I was at my biggest.

How did I get overweight?? Well this time I can't even blame having a baby because I weighed less when I had her than I did when I fell. I had gestational diabetes and had no choice but to eat well and lost weight instead of gaining. But I have always been, well, chubby I guess. I have lost weight before but then just put it back on, a couple of times actually. I put back on about 15 kg after I had Lara, just doing the wrong things!! I was 89kg when I had her and went all the way back up to 103! I would have takeaway a couple of times a week, I would eat whatever I wanted really and whenever, even if i wasn't hungry I would just eat because I like food. I didn't exercise alot, I would walk to the bus stop with Lil, but that was about it. When I got to 103kg I decided that enough is enough and I would not let myself get to 105kg. So it's been a slow process but I am almost back to baby Lara weight, but I am going to get to my goal weight this time and stay there!!

Oops...and a LO

I did not have a good week on the weight loss front this week :( I had a little gain of 100 grams, but I went away for the weekend, an 18th birthday and an engagement party!! So my food choices were not good, too many yummy nibblies, and I don't think I done enough exercise. But it's all good I am back to it now, I want to win one of these yummy prizes!!

Here is my latest LO, I actually used the sketch that was this months challenge at Scrap The Girls, but I didn't quite get it done on time to enter it. I have used Echo Park, Little Girl PP, some ZVA bling (from Scrapsidaisy) and a little bit of lace. I really love this PP, it's got purple in it!! I'm a bit of a purple fan LOL

Going... Going.....

another kilo (and a little) gone!!

I lost 1.1kg this week. A total if 1.7kg so far, Yaaaaaay!! I have been sticking to my Weight Watchers daily pro points total. I have walked alot, on my treadmill and outside too. I did have a little splurge on the weekend, I had BBQ chicken and hot chips, I did have them with salad so I didn't have a big serve, but it was yummy.

I hope everyone joining in has had a good week too!!
I am going to share my favourite dessert this week. I have a Peters Light and Creamy ice cream slice (2 pro porints, sorry I don't know calories) then top it with banana and diet chocolate topping (both point free) This has replaced what I used to eat after dinner. I would have 3 weetbix with full cream milk and a few teaspoons of sugar :O That was naughty. But that's a habit that I have stopped now.

Some School LO's

I have already shared the Kindergarten LO before, but I just recently made the pocket to go with it. It holds all the certificates, reports and other bits and pieces that she got that year.

And this is last years photo, that I only just scrapped......Whoops :) But anyways, I

am ready to scrap this years and they haven't even been taken yet. LOL I still need to find a nice album to put these in.

And this was just a $2 note pad that I wanted to make pretty, I am going to put a 'title' on it but I'm not sure what yet. I love to decorate these and give them to people as little gifts with a pretty pen or something. Or even just keep them LOL

It's going the right way!!

Well the first week of the 5kg challenge is over and I have lost 600g Woo hoo. I didn't get off to the best start at the beginning of the week, but I got straight back on the 'wagon' and have had a loss, so I am happy with that!!

I got my new treadmill on Sunday and have been giving it a workout!! Yesterday I was actually jogging on it. I would walk for 2 mins then jog for 2 mins, I done this for half an hour, I felt great afterwards!!

Some new stuff to share..

Finally I have some new pages to share, it feels like I haven't scrapped for ages. I have though, it just been a slow process lately. I did however get the Scrapsidaisy challenge for February done in a day though, was very proud of that effort LOL. The challenge this month was to create your own background! I have used a couple of different techniques. First I stamped and embossed on the CS (it's a little hard to see in the pic cause it's white) then I sprayed some paint over top, and then stamped as well. Good fun!! I used some Echo Park, Little Girl PP on there, ZVA bling and I cut the title with my cricut!

I went to Scrapsidaisy on Tuesday and done this class, super cute I think!!

This is a little project I made for my niece. It's one of those clear CD protectors that come on the spools, but anyways you could use an old CD too. Just a little something pretty to hang in her room. I used some older Kaiser PP's, some Prima flowers and Thickers.

That's all for this post, but I have just remembered a couple of other things I haven't shown you yet, I haven't taken pics of them so I will do that in the next day or two and be back soon.

A different kind of challenge!!

So I have decided to join in this challenge!!

Karen and Nerrida (both very talented scrappers) have created this challenge for anyone who thinks they could benefit from losing 5 kilos, with some great scrappy prizes up for grabs too. I am currently trying to lose weight and think it is excellent motivation and I think it will be great to have some support as well!!

So this is my weight this morning, 1st of February. I have already lost 10 kg with Weight Watchers, so I am going to lose my 5 kg by sticking to my daily points allowance and exercising for at least 30 mins for 5 days of the week.

The challenge starts on the 7th of February.

...The PP, that is. Cosmo Cricket DeLovely actually, so bright and fun I love it!! Here is the first LO I made with it. I used a Page Map for both of these LO's actually, I needed something to get me going after not scrapping much at all over Chrissy / New Year.

I used Kaiser, Love Notes for this LO of Ryan and Me. I love the black and pink in this range, just gorgeous!!

So.. I spent the morning cleaning up my scrap space, it was just out of control!! I must thank my 2 gorgeous girls for that, they helped make it a mess LOL. But anyways, now I feel the need to go mess it up again, in a good way!!

A New Year!

and a new look for my blog!! I hope you all had wonderful holidays. I also hope you are all safe and well, the floods in Queensland have been devastating and also in Victoria too now. My thoughts are with the people who have lost there homes and the families of those that have died.

I have a couple of LO's to share today. The first one is Miss Lilli all dressed up as Snow White for Book Week last year, the PP is Reminisce, Fairy Tales. It was perfect for this photo. I have used some Jules Gems flowers and Kaiser bling.

This LO I made for last months Kraft It Up challenge, but I was a bit slow and didn't get it finished in time. But anyways, the challenge was to scrap a Chrissy page using non-traditional colours and also there had to be knots on there somewhere.

It's School Holidays!!!

Yaaay!! I think I say it everytime but I do love school holidays.

Just a couple of things to share today, first up a LO of my sister and her girls, they are all gorgeous!!

I used some MME, Fine and Dandy PP for this LO, Kaiser bling and pearls, one little Prima flower and collections chip heart that I have painted and then stamped on. I cut the title from felt with my cuttlebug.

I made this Journal for Lilli's birthday, I have one and she asked if I could make her one as well. So I did. She took it to school for show and tell :)

Very pretty and girly I thought.

That's all I have to share today. I have not had a chance to do a lot of scrapping lately, it's just that time of year!! But I did make this card for my cousins wedding recently. I totally stole the design from the Kaisercraft blog, if you scroll to the bottom of the post you will see the card by Camilla Ekman that I lifted!! It's not exactly the same but you can see the resemblance.

So anyways that's all from me today. It's Saturday so hopefully I might get to sit down and scrap for a few hours today, fingers crossed!!

Some Chrissy cards and an Award!!

So.. it's almost December, OH MY!!!! Sorry, I just can't believe how fast the year has flown by. Anyways, I have been working on my chrissy cards, slowly, but I'm getting there!! I made these 2 last week, I used a technique we learned a couple of years ago when Kim Archer came to Scrapsidaisy. We stamped on book paper and then painted the image, I love the result!! I have used Echo Park PP and some older Kaiser PP as well.

I added a little sparkle with Kindy Glitz....as you do! and I'm sorry I can't remember the name of the stamps, I really should write it on them some where if I am going to throw out the packaging!!

And I got this!! An award for a Beautiful Blog!! Thanks so much to Nerrida who gave me this award. You should go and check out her blog, she does some amazing work!!

A card for my Mum and a LO.

Ok so LO first! This is my latest LO using the Kaiser Homemade PP's. Ryan and Lilli's feet at the beach. I have used some Prima flowers, I made my own crochet heart and cut the title with my cricut. I cut the scrabble letters out of a piece of the PP. A bit of stamping on there too. I have also used one of the Kaiser rubon quotes, I love them they are beautiful.

And this is my Mumma's birthday card! It was her birthday on Wednesday. The stamp I think, is a My Favourite Things stamp. The packaging is gone and I have had them for a little while. It's cute anyhow!! I coloured it with inks and water brush. There is some Prima flowers and bling on there, oh and I have used MME papers. I think she will love it. I won't see her until tomorrow to find out!!

I do have a couple of Christmas cards to share but for some reason I can't load them right now, so I will be back soon to show you them. In case I am not back before the weekend, I hope you have a safe and happy one.

Some My Minds Eye

I finally got to play with my MME PP's that I got from Scrapsidasiy last week. It's the Tickled Pink range, I love it, it's gorgeous. I have used some Prima flowers on there too, I cut the butterflies with my cuttlebug, using a sizzix die. The title I cut out on my cricut. A bit of paint and sewing on there too.

I am hoping my title doesn't offend anyone, but that's how she was sleeping LOL

Here is a close up of some detail.

I love the chipboard and brads that come with the papers too. Very cute!!

Kaiser Advent Calendar

I have been working hard this last week trying to get this finished, because I know if I didn't get down now it probably wouldn't have been ready before December LOL

Anyways, I have used Echo Park, Everybody Loves Christmas PP and stickers, Kaiser bling and Be Merry clear stamps and the tree is also from Kaiser. There's a bit of kindy glitz on there too :)

and here is a little bit of detail. How cute are my presents!! LOL If you click on the photo you can see the kindy glitz better.

I quite like it, I don't think I will want to put it away when Christmas is over.

That's all I've got today, that little project was time consuming, but well worth it I think.

More to share!!

I'm back already!!

I have been to a few classes at Scrapsidaisy this last week and had a great time with my scrapping friends :)

The first LO I did on Tuesday night with the very talented Jules, isn't the tree gorgeous!! We did a bit of everything on there, misting, embossing, faux stitching, it was great, and I love there result.

Now these two should be around the other way but it's all good. I spent the day at Scrapsidaisy on Friday making these two beautiful creations.

In the afternoon we made this gorgeous canvas with Jules, it sparkles so beautifully IRL but I couldn't seem to get that in a photo. Now I need to find a spot to hang it!!

And in the morning we had a wonderful guest teacher from W.A. Mistra, and we made these beautiful angels! We got messy with paint and inks and sparkly with stickles, wonderful!!! Again she sparkles so much more IRL!

So I have had a very creative week, it's been great!! I hope your week has been creative too and I hope your weekend is fabulous!!

Just in time..

Only just made it in time for this months Kraft It Up challenge, it's been a busy month!!

The challenge this month was a sketch, and here is my LO!

I used Kaiser, Hippy Girl PP and that's about it really LOL Oh and Kraft of course. I cut the title from the PP on my cricut and the flower from the PP. Oh there is some Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type alphas on there!!

The Coffee fund

This was a little project for my sister, she asked me to decorate this old coffee jar so they could use it for a money jar for their coffee supplies at her work.

I used some older Kaiser PP, bling, flowers and tiny letters. Some Prima bling too. I used my Cricut to cut the 'coffee' out of Kraft CS.

I stamped a little verse on a tag. It did have one more line but it kinda didn't sound right, so I cut it off LOL I used some string to tie it on.

Here's a view of the lid, I used my nesties to make the flourish.

One lonely LO that is. I have been busy organising my birthday party and have not had so much time to scrap. I have still played with my Cricut but!!

So excited..

I got one of these for my birthday

Wooo Hooo, I have wanted one for quite a while and was super excited when Ryan said I could have one for my birthday!!

I would like to thank Leisa from Scrapsidaisy, for finding the super special for me and it arrived super fast so I had it before my birthday!!

to take those pics of my finished LO's. I have even finished an extra one too. I have been using some of my Echo Park PP, I love it!! There is some on all of these LO's. I used A Walk In The Park for the first one and also some of my new Prima flowers, all available from Scrapsidaisy, and I have used my cuttlebug for the title. There is some hidden journalling on there, under the photo. Lilli set up this little farm when I was out one night and left it there for me to take a photo of it, it was cute!!

For this one I used the Life is Good range. I love this photo of my girls.

and this one is Prima PP with a little bit of Echo Park and some sewing as well. I don't very often use PP as a background but I loved these dots

Here is my entry for the September challenge over on the Kraft It Up blog. This month we had to use a picture for inspiration and Kraft of course!! You can check out the challenge here.

I was inspired by the colours, I added a banner on there and I have 2 little girls playing together instead of boys.

I used a few old pp's for this LO, some Kaiser and My Minds Eye. A cuttlebug title and some hand made flowers. I used some of the new Kaiser tiny alphas, they are awesome!!

Here is a close up of the letters aren't they tiny!! I love them, I got mine from Scrapsidaisy.

Annnnd something totally unrelated to scrapping, TIM MCGRAW!!!! I have had my tickets to his show in Sydney since May and have waited so patiently (well most of the time) to go and see him. It finally rolled around on Tuesday and was more than worth the wait, so so awesome!!! (yes that's 2 so's) We were super lucky in Sydney, Faith Hill came out and sang I Need You with him, OMG I have never screamed so much in my life!! I am surprised I have a voice at all!!

Bring on the Bling projects!

Last Saturday I went to Scrapsidaisy's 12 hour scrap day Bring on the Bling!!

I had such a great day, it was nice to have 12 hours just for me.

Here are the beautiful classes we participated in while we were there.

A big thanks to Jules, Mel and Lauren for being our teachers, also to the wonderful friends who made the day fun!! A big thanks also to Leisa for organising the whole day!!

This was Jules' class, a beautiful book that we can fill with precious memories.

Mel's class was this beautiful wall hanging, we only made one on the day but I wanted to make another one for Lara.

and Lauren's gorgeous LO, very cool!! We learned a great new technique for including fabric on LO's.

A birthday card

Just a quick post today.

I just wanted to share this birthday card I made for sisters M.I.L.

I used Cosmo Cricket PP and also some Prima for the paper flower and Prima bling!!Kaiser wooden leaves and lace and some gorgeous little roses, all available at Scrapsidaisy.

The butterfly I cut out on the cuttlebug and glued some microbeads on to match the little roses. I stamped the sentiment and then clear embossed it. Just a little disappointed with the sentiment.

Anyways, I am looking forward to spending some time with some scrapping friends today, Scrapsidaisy are having a 12 hour crop, Bring on the Bling, should be lots of fun!!

Echo Park and excitement

I used Echo Park, Sweet Summertime, for the challenge at Scrapsidaisy this week. The challenge was set by Suzi this week and we had to use a brides good luck charms, something old, something new something borrowed, something blue. I have used an old Kaiser rubon and also some bling, some new PP, I borrowed a Pagemap and there are a few blue things on there.

Isn't the paper gorgeous!! Scrapsidaisy also have the Life is Good and Walk in the Park ranges available here.

And I am very excited to say that I won a prize for my Kraft It Up entry last month, wooo hooo!! Thank you to the sponsors, WIOIN, for my voucher!!! There were so many gorgeous entries, to have mine chosen as a winner is just awesome. Thanks again :)

This one started out as my LO for the weekly challenge at Scrapsidaisy, but didn't end up quite meeting the criteria. But that's ok, I love how it has turned out. I used a Pagemap, some Kaiser Up Up and Away and Prima bling. I made the flower out of some lace and a cuttlebug title. My cuttlebug has been getting a work out lately!!

The photos are from when I was pregnant with Lilli, way back in 2003. My face looks pretty tired and puffy, but they are special.

A bit late....

I have just realised I haven't posted my LO for the latest challenge at Scrapsidaisy. I thought I had better since it is almost time for the next one!

This weeks challenge was set by Mel and had to be about water. It also had to have some misting, inking and bling on there too. All done!!

I have used Kaiser PP and bling, I stamped my title then cut it out and I made the pink flower. I used the very last drop of my Pink Taffy glimmermist :( So sad, I loved that colour. And just a little bit more stamping as well. Love the face Lil is pulling in this pic!!

I have another LO to share but it will have to wait until tomorrow, I forgot to get a photo of it today.

A Rainy Monday!!

The weekend was so beautiful here and now it's a horrible freezing wet Monday. I am glad it stayed away for the weekend though!!
The challenge is up in the Scrapsidaisy Gallery and this week, we had to scrap a list, any kind of list. So I decided to scrap my wish list. I cut pics of magazines and catalogues of the things on my list and scrapped them with it.
Here my entry for this months Kraft It Up challenge. This month you had to use the colours green, yellow and black and Kraft of course. Not colours I use together very often, but I like it!

And this is just a little sneak peak of a DT layout I have created for Scrapsidaisy.

That's all from me today. Now I am going to try and warm up a bit. My fingers and toes are frozen!!

LOL. This doesn't happen very often. I have scrapped about my partner twice this week, no girly stuff!!
The first one is a just for me LO and I promise it is not crooked IRL, it was my crooked photography LOL I used some Kaiser Le Chateau and Crate Paper Paper Doll. I have done some stamping on there too and a cuttlebug title. I think if you click on the photo you should be able to read my journalling.
and the second one is for the weekly challenge at Scrapsidaisy. It was Jules' turn to set the challenge this week and we had to scrap something sporty!! This was Ryan's very first game of rugby league. I used Kaiser Jungle Bug PP, cuttlebug title and a tiny bit of sewing too. Oh and some paint!!!

....those who hate washing the dishes as much as I do!!!
It was my turn to set the challenge at Scrapsidaisy this week and I thought we could scrap something 'everyday'. So just something that you do everyday or most days and as you can see from my LO, I think washing up is the worst everyday job there is LOL. You can see what the other girls on the design team have created here.
I used the Kaiser Konstruct PP on this LO. I cut my own foam title with my cuttlebug.
Nothing else to share today, it's not looking like a nice day here today, might be perfect weather for scrapping.

Finally.....The mini album

Well not the whole thing, that might have taken way too long to blog LOL. But I tried to give you a fair idea what it looks like. The first pic has a photo of the birthday girl, my baby sister, all grown up!!
I won't explain, you can just look LOL

I love it now that it's finished, I knew it would be worth it when it was done, but I must admit, sometimes I wished it didn't have so many pages (it actually has 14) but it's all good!!
And here is the weekly challenge for Scrapsidaisy, this week we had to scrap about nature. I scrapped some of the flowers in my garden. I even used one of the Kaiser birdcages I got in my little goody bag from the "garden party". I kind of struggle using things like this, but I was determined to use it!!!! LOL You can join in the fun here.

Here is my LO for the Scrapsidaisy weekly challenge, this week we had to do a LO about animals, could be a pet, or the party animal in your family, just something about animals. So I had this cute little frog photo that I took a little while ago and decided to use it. I have done some glimmermisting, I made my own little daisy and I used some Kaiser PP.

Bright and colourful fun!!

I just loved the challenge at Scrapsidaisy this week!! That was....the photo, had to be of a child, 5 and under, 3 bright PP and some sort of animal on there. What fun I had making this LO. I chose some fun photos of Lilli when she turned 1 Then I splattered some white cardstock with some paint in the colours from the PP I was using, I used Nerdy Bird and also just a little bit of Lime Rickey and some BG doily as well, and my little birdy is sitting on the flower. I like it! LOL You can see the other design team LO's here
I made this card for my MIL, it was her birthday last week. I just can't do nice flat bows, but oh well, maybe I need to practice a bit more!!

I also done the challenge on the Kraft It Up blog again this month. The challenge was to do a LO using Kraft and 4-6 photos of any size. I had some photos I had taken of Lil on her first day of school that I hadn't scrapped yet!! So I used them. There is journaling on the back, I just didn't want to put it on the front.

and thats about it! I wish I had some more to share but I haven't had much scrapping time. My baby girl turned one last week, and I spent my scrapping time making cakes LOL I have to make my sister a mini album for her 21st in a fortnight so I will be working hard on that.

B is for.....

Brown, Bling, Buttons and Beautiful Girls! That's my challenge for this week over at Scrapsidaisy this week, a B challenge. I used Prima PP, it's so beautiful I never feel like I can cover it up, which is why it's a bit of a minimalist LO. I have done a bit of stamping on there too, made some cuttlebug butterflies and the lace is antique I am sure LOL.
Aww my baby girl was just three months old in this pic, tomorrow she will be 1 !! Time just goes way too fast, the year has just flown on by.
I don't have anything else to share today. I didn't get to do much scrapping over the weekend, we spent the weekend doing all the odd jobs that don't get done often enough. It's school holidays here too, I ♥ Holidays LOL. I can stay in my jammies 'til 9 am ahhhhh bliss!!

Saturday Sketch @ Kaisercraft.

I decided to have a go at the Saturday Sketch on the Kaisercraft blog this month, it's been a month of trying new things for me!
Anyhow here is my LO, I have used Hey Birdie (again) I think I may have used up my stash of this PP now, maybe there is enough for a card left LOL. I have scrapped some of the photos too, but I printed out some smaller ones with the big ones and I thought this sketch was perfect to use them on. I used June Sketch No. 4.

I used MM Pitter Patter PP for this one, such a cute range for babies!!
....and the LO I created from the challenge kit we received at the Garden Party. Lil really wanted to be able to make it across the monkey bars, she was determined!! You should be able to read the journalling if you click on the photo.

Some new stuff!

I thought I had already posted these few things a couple of days ago, but obviously I didn't!! So now I have two posts for today.
This one first but. The first LO is one I did just because. I used the Kaiser Hey Birdie PP, some Jules Gems flowers and Heidi Swapp alphas. I also used a Kaiser pearl strip and made scallops with it.
This was a canvas class we did at the Scrapsidaisy Garden Party last weekend. Mel designed it, I must say I love it!!

And this one is a LO I completed in the spare time at the Garden Party. It is a bit sparkly IRL, but it didn't show up well in the photo.

I had a great weekend, I spent all day Friday and Saturday at Scrapsidaisy, celebrating their 5th birthday, scrapping with some wonderful, crazy friends. I done some great classes that I will share when I have taken pics. I also won a couple of cool little prizes which is always nice!!

Lots to share.....

I seem to scrap so much more when Ryan works day shift, maybe it's because he hogs the computer at night and I can't use it, so I scrap instead LOL. So I have a few things to share today and first up is the weekly challenge for Scrapsidaisy. This week we had to decorate one of these little beauties....... I have a couple of them floating around the house that I have been saving to decorate one day. A couple of the girls on the design team made 'tooth tins' that are so gorgeous, head on over to the gallery and check them out.
Here is my tin. I used the Kaiser Konstruct PP's. I love the colours in these papers. I just made mine as a little goody tin for Lilli, for whatever she wants to hide in there, probably money!! She has a stash of little coins she finds around the house or if she has been a good girl and gets pocket money.

and some exciting news!!! Scrapsidaisy turns 5 this year, Woo Hoo, and to celebrate they are holding a Birthday Garden Party!!! I am excited, I get to go for both full days this time round YAAAAY!!! 2 whole days of scrapping, chatting, fun and games. Here are the details......

So back to scrapping, I have done some LO's using both of the new Kaiser ranges, available at Scrapsidaisy, I am not sure if I love this LO, I love the papers, just not sure I used them well.

But this one I love!! All the bright colours mixed with the black.....awesome!!

I thought I might have a go at another challenge too. This one is from the Kraft It Up challenge blog. I love Kraft CS, and I thought this would be a good one to join in. You must use Kraft CS and at least one other requirement, this month the requirement is to do a minimalist LO. Here is mine....

I have used Basic Grey, Max and Whiskers PP and I even made my own swirls on this one, using transparency and liquid pearls and I also made some for the next LO as well.

I have wanted to have a go at a cardboard LO for a while, but I just hadn't, so when Ryan bought me home some cardboard boxes that were almost 12 x 12 square, I thought it was a good time to have a try. I also bought an old story book from the op shop so I could rip it up and use on there and I also made my own butterflies with the cuttlebug.

So I think that's about all I have to share today. Now I may need to go sit in the sunshine and warm up, my house is freezing today!!

Rain, Rain.....

Feels like it has been raining for days on end here, it's not really so bad, just can't catch up on the washing.....such a shame LOL.
Got a couple of new things to share, a LO using some Hey Birdie PP, lots of baby bumps here LOL. I used Thickers for the title and also some tiny type alphas, a tiny bit of kaiser bling and that's about it!!

and this weeks challenge over at Scrapsidaisy was to create a LO inspired by...... you will have to go have a look!! LOL. Here is mine though. I used a few stamps on this one, all one set, from Pink Paislee. I used glimmermist and a mask for the cardstock and a cuttlebug title, cut from foam. I actually like this photo of me, there is not many that I do like, so I thought I should scrap it.

I think that's about all I have to share on the scrapping front, might go dig in my stash and do some while it's raining since I can't do the washing.

I ♥ Scrapbooking

Just in case you didn't know already!! I just wanted a different title this week and I am just not very creative with words LOL. But anyhow, got a few things to share today. It was my turn to set the Scrapsidaisy challenge again, I set a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. challenge this week, good fun. I love to see how different every ones LO's can be. Here is my LO, Little Lara talking to herself in the mirror, very entertaining!!
This one is my niece Holli on her 4th birthday. We had a embellishment swap at Scrapsidaisy last month and I have used a few of the goodies on this LO and some October Afternoon papers and other little bits and pieces.

Here is a close up of the embellishments, the shrinky and the crocheted flower are from the swap. There is also some Basic Grey Bling in there....

This was a class that I attended at Scrapsidaisy two weeks ago! I enjoyed it. It was the first time in ages I had scrapped with anyone. Since then I have also had a scrap day with my sister, which was nice too. Any hoo, this is supposed to have a photo in it, but I am yet to find the perfect photo. So it is just looking pretty on my desk until I find one. Jules is such a clever cookie!!! She was the designer and teacher for this project. Thanks Jules!!

and one more LO just because. Little Lara again, this time eating sand at the park....nice....LOL

She had so much fun but, crawling around discovering all kinds of things, like sticks and leaves. She also had a turn on the swing, but didn't love it much!! I crocheted a few hearts and added to my LO and also made my own paper flower!! The PP is Paper Doll from Cratepaper, too cute!!

Jungle Bug.....

That's the name of the Kaiser papers I have used for both of these LO's.
The first LO is for the Scrapsidaisy weekly challenges. This weeks challenge, set by Suzi ?? To scrap those school photo's!!! A great challenge. I hadn't scrapped Lil's school photos from Kindy yet, but I have now!! Yaay Me. I was even thinking about buying a special album just for school photos because, as I have said before, I scrap in no particular order and usually all the pages just go into what ever album is happening. But I might make an exception I think. It would be nice just to have school photos in one album............yeah I think I will do that. But anyways, head on over to the Scrapsidaisy Gallery and have a look at some of the other great LO's that are there. Why not even have a go yourself and let us see your handy work.....Go on.....
and just a fun LO of my niece and nephew having a play!! It's not very often I play with papers in these colours, but I was attracted to the cuteness of it LOL.

A challenge and a pretty shopping list!!

The week 4 challenge at Scrapsidaisy was set by Mel. It was a different kind of challenge this week, but I am not going to tell you what it was!! You will have to go over to the gallery and have a look and find out!!
Here is my page, it's about my Nana when she was young. The clock is from Dusty Attic, I have sprayed some 'Old Lace' glimmermist on it, looks very nice IRL, I have also used some of the gorgeous Jules Gems flowers on there. All these goodies are available at Scrapsidaisy, who by the way, have some awesome specials happening in the online store at the moment. GO CHECK IT OUT!!!!!!
My sister gave me this cool shopping list and the PP and asked me to make it pretty LOL. It's really old Basic Grey PP - Stella Ruby- was the range!!! I stamped some little birdies and cut them out, added some flowers and a bit of bling. Pretty enough?? Well she thought so!!!

I have used the La Di Da range for this LO. I have sewed again!! and cut a title with my cuttlebug. I am happy that I got 4 photos on this LO, I am not the best at using multiple photos on LO's, it was a whole lot easier with a sketch!!
Two Mothers Day cards, both with Tea at Elsies, wow, I have used alot of Kaiser lately. It's all so gorgeous!! I also very lightly sprayed the first card with Old Lace Glimmermist, thats why it's sparkly.....

and just sprayed a little on the butterfly and sentiment on this card. and just a closeup of the butterfly on the second card, just cause I like it :)

A new challenge and a new LO

Lots to share today......

First up, two new design team LO's. Especially made for inspiration kits, available at Scrapsidaisy. The first one is 'Like Mother, Like Daughter' a LO of Lilli and Me, she reminds me of me LOL. You can use my page as inspiration or make up your own with all the goodies in the kit....
and my other inspiration kit, '1 in a Million to me' This one is my mum, definitely one in a million ♥ I tried to make this one so it could be about anyone, parents, grandparents, children, partner etc. Head on over to Scrapsidaisy now and check out the other kits also available.

Next up, the April Copycat Cards challenge is up in the Gallery. I got to set the challenge this month!!! Woo Hoo LOL. The rules were, No Stamping allowed, Use a punch and Use the colour yellow. I have used a rubon for the sentiment, a square punch and also a butterfly punch and well you can see the yellow LOL

Here is just a close up of a butterfly cause I think they are cute!!! I just put a little glue around the edges and on the body, then sprinkled on some glitter. Ta da!!!

This LO was for the monthly scrap challenge at Scrapsidaisy. The requirements......the title had to be a song title, use the colour brown, a cuttlebug element and some pattern paper. My song was actually 'The World' by Brad Paisley, but I thought it was 'to the world' Oh well, whats done is done, I still love it. I did steal the LO from Suzi though. I really loved it when I seen it...I did have a bit of a disaster though and had to cover it up so, there is a few extra bits on there.

and one just for me, of my gorgeous little niece Lauryn!! She is 3 months younger that Lara. Such a cutie!!

I hope you are all enjoying your Easter, where ever you might be. We have had a very quiet one this year. Lara enjoyed her first taste of real chocolate!! and Lilli had 2 egg hunts one inside when she woke up and one outside a little later in the day. She loved it!!

My first 2 cards a very very similar, but for completely different occasions. I made the first one for my next door neighbours who had their 4th baby boy just a few weeks ago. They don't have any girls!! I have stamped the giraffe then put some kindy glitz on him, and tied a little ribbon round his neck.
..... and then this one for my BIL. I was inspired by the challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy Forum/Gallery. The challenge was to colour on a card, my card for the challenge is actually the next one but I enjoyed the colouring so I made this one as well. This one I have coloured with inks and a water brush. A perfect stamp for my BIL who loves to fish!!!

So this is my challenge card for March at Scrapsidaisy, hand colouring, use some kindy glitz and use more than 3 colours. Check, check and check!!! I coloured this one with pencils

.....and a squeaky little LO, 'Sqeak' is my neice, she has a sqeaky little cry and this is the nickname I gave her.

I have used Nerdy Bird by Sassafras for this LO. I love the cuteness and bright colours in this range!!

Tooo Cute!!! LOL

I forgot to say that this LO was also for a challenge on the Scrapsidaisy Gallery. We had to scraplift a page from one of our gallery members this month it was Suzitee. You should go check out the challenges I always find they get me scrapping!!!

It's starting to get cool here in the mornings, I even had to put on a jacket this morning!!! Sometimes I can't wait for the cooler weather, just because it's better for sleeping and great for those days when you just want to curl up on the lounge and read a book.

Any hoo, I have lots to share today, probably because I should have posted some earlier but these things happen!!

So the first page was for the March challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy forum. The requirements this month.....It had to be about a male, use the colour green, a metal embellishment and a title that had more than two words!! Yep definately a challenge for me, I could probably count the number of male LO's I've done with my fingers!!!

I made this cute little whiteboard for my sister, to put on her locker at work. She was always forgetting to get her lunch box out of the fridge or forgetting to get the bread on the way home etc. etc. but she hates post it notes, they are just look too untidy. So I made this, I think I want one LOL.

Annnd I was lucky enough to get to play with the new Kaiser range, Gypsy Sisters, for my Scrapsidaisy design team projects this month!!! Woohoo. Oh how I ♥ these papers, they are gorgeous!! Have a look......

See I told you!!! LOL.

This one is about Lilli finally learning to ride without training wheels Yaaaay!!!! I made some little flowers myself for this one, my lovely friend Jules taught me how to make them. Thanks Jules!!

Some new stuff!

I have a few new things to share. First one is the Copycat card challenge from over on the Scrapsidaisy Forum/Gallery. We had to use a photo for inspiration, some gorgeous colours!! I have used my cuttlebug a bit on this one. I embossed some white cardstock then coloured the raised designs with crayon then put a litttle Dimensional Magic over to top to give it a little bit of shine! I also made the butterfly out of a flower cut with the my cuttlebug, I can't take credit for that idea though. It was something I learned out at Scrapsidaisy, twice actually, once with cardstock then also with paper flowers. I love her anyhow ( my butterfly that is)
This is the first Halloween page I have ever done!!! We don't usually celebrate it here, but the neighbours had a party so it was fun to get dressed up. Here is Lil, in her witch outfit!! Such a gorgeous witch :)

The next LO I done as design team project to go on display at Scrapsidaisy. I used Kaiser papers.....awww they are so sweet!! I also made another little project with these papers but have not got a photo of that to share yet. I will save that for another day. The page also just happened to also fit into the monthly challenge for the forum as well Yaaay!

This was just a fun one of Ryan, he quite often just pulls all kinds of different faces at me when I try to take his photo. I thought it was time I actually scrapped some of them!!

And one more of my beautiful girl. I have already scrapped this photo, but I got it printed larger with intentions of framing it, but then got other ideas!! Quite simple but still pretty, I think. I had done a mini interview with her about some of her favourite things at 6 years old. So 6 questions at six years, hence the title 6 @ Six. I have sprayed and splattered some white cardstock with Glimmer mist for the background.

Besides my new design team pages ( Which I am not sure if I can share yet) That is all thats new from me. But I intend to get off this computer when I am done with this post and go and create some more.

Well that was yesterday, but I hope you had a great day anyhow!
Lots to share today!! First up..... My first LO's for the Scrapsidaisy Design Team Yaaaay!!!! These kits are available from Scrapsidaisy and are full of goodies, you can choose to do your own LO's or maybe use mine for inspiration. Here is what I done with my pack!!
No 1 Miss Lilli, with her favourite dolly!
A card, made from some leftover scraps. (Plenty of leftovers for cards)

And No 2 LO... Miss Lara.

Thats all for the design team!! Up next.....A copycat card!! A card challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy Forum. The criteria for the challenge...Use floral PP, some felt, brad/s or button/s, cotton or string and a punch or diecut. Here is my card!!

The next LO, I done the challenge over at Scrap the Girls. This is the first time I have done one of the challenges, but I quite often visit the blog for inspiration!! The challenge was to design a page with the sketch provided. Here is my effort!! LOL

I should have put this one on later, I have used some techniques that I learned at the Scrapsidaisy Roundup a few weekends ago. I done two classes with the especially talented Michelle Grant. I embossed the background with a cuttlebug folder and a crayon, a very cool trick lol. I also made the little star in a similar way but used heat embossing as well.

So here is the second LO that I we done with Michelle. ( Yes I always seem to load the pictures up in the wrong order) It is just gorgeous and is my new favourite!!! There is so many little features on here, and some of the great techniques I mentioned before!! Lots of cuttlebugging!!

The first class I done at the roundup. A double, I don't very often do those!! and so many photos, I love the amount of photos on here!! The wheel turns so you can look at the photos the right way up, so clever!! This was Michelles class too. Thanks for sharing your talents Michelle!!!

My Exciting News....

I have been chosen on the Scrapsidaisy Design Team!!! I am so excited!!! I have received and completed my first pack, but you will have to wait until after our Roundup Retreat (!!!!!!!)to see those ones.
I do have a couple of others to share though.
No 1 was for the challenge on the Scrapsidaisy Forum. So you had to use the colour red, a title starting with the letter 'O' and do some distressing of some kind!! I love how it turned out! I quite like challenges, they help me to think outside the square sometimes!! And No 2 is Little Moo. Ryan called Lara little moo whenever she had this suit on, it's so cute!!
The colours are different on this one, not what I would usually use for a girls LO. But I love it just the same!!

Thats all the scrapping news I have at the moment. I am still enjoying the school holidays. We were pretty busy for the first few weeks. Ryan has gone back to work now though so life is slowly returning to normal. It felt like we were all over the place!!!

Best go hang out the washing while the sun is shining!!

Well I hope you had a safe and happy new year! I did, didn't make it to midnight on NYE but had a good night anyway. We have been for a holiday to Sydney. We stayed with a friend for 4 nights, we went to the aquarium, which is so awesome!!!! We spent the rest of the day wondering around Darling Harbour, it is so great there. I have not done that before. Lilli had a great day. We went on a giant ferris wheel that was fun and a little scary LOL. I am glad to be home though, it feels like we have been gone for a month!!!
So anyway, I have a couple of pages to share.
No 1 is of Ryan, with his winning scratchie although he did not win the major prize LOL. He was excited anyway!!!
No 2 is a Fathers Day LO. A little bit late (ok alot) but I don't scrap in any particular order, I just like to do it when inspiration comes to me LOL. I love the nook and pantry PP from Basic Grey. I also used some raw chipboard thickers. I inked them pink then sprayed them with pearl glimmermist. I love that stuff!!!!

I do have another LO finished but I need to take a pic and upload so I will share that soon and also some other exciting news!!!

Wow!! The year has just passed on by!! I am excited it's Christmas, I love the holidays!!
Anyhow just thought I should update my blog just one last time this year, because I am sure I won't get to do it again before 2010!! I haven't done alot of scrapping but here are a few pages that I haven't shared.
No.1 is my little girl Lara with Grandpa. I love theses October afternoon papers they are gorgeous!

Next up, a LO that has been finished since before I had Lara. LMAO Oh dear!! Lilli on her birthday last year! She has since turned 6!

And Lilli and Lara having snuggles! This one was a challenge for Scrapsidaisy!

So thats about it for this year!! I will try to be a better blogger next year, but no promises!!! Take care.

Another Challenge Complete and On Time!!!

A couple more pages to share, the first one was a challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy Forum. You see I usually don't get them done on time, but I have been on a bit of a roll and this one was complete with time to spare lol. The challenge was to do a wedding LO. It had to include, something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. So I used some old rubons for the title, some new Glimmermist (pearl) that I absolutely love, I borrowed the photo off my sister and I also borrowed the page LO off Jules, and just some blue paper and a flower for the last bit!
This one is Lara, in her little green all-in-one suit. I love green and we called her a little frog when she had it on. (it's too small for her already) That's how the page got it's name!! I love frogs too!!!

Two New Pages

Just two new pages to share today. The first one I started a little while ago, and just found all the bits still together in a storage thingy (LOL). So I finished it off over the weekend but have only just loaded up the photos. I absolutely love the sparkly 'thickers' they are gorgeous!!! and a bit of bling on there too. This is my neice...
I have used the new My Minds Eye papers for the next one. I do find it hard to use this kind of PP, But I am quite happy with this page. It looks quite simple but actually took me a long time to finish. I love the papers they are beautiful and I still have plenty left for more pages. I must say I really didn't want to cut them, but thats how I end up with piles of PP that I haven't used (LOL) So I just did it!!!!

That's about all from me today. I am loving the warmer weather, it is great, but I am sure I will be complaining about it soon!!

.... New page, thats is, and also a couple of cards. So here is my page, I have used Basic Grey Lemonade papers, I love them, I think they are beauitful!! The photo was taken the day after I had baby Lara. Me and my gorgeous girls!! I am lucky.
And I can show these cards now I have given them to the girls I made them for!! Just some Thank You cards, for the wonderful gifts I received when I had Lara.

I used my cuttlebug for every card here, with the nesties on most of them although the top one has a cuttlebug flower on it. I need to use it more often!!

OMG!! Can you believe it is September already?? The year is just going by way too quick for me!! My baby girl is already 10 weeks old. And dare I say it, christmas is just around the corner.

But anyhow, I have a new LO to share, just one. lol. Actually the photo is from christmas last year. This was another August challenge from the Scrapsidaisy Forum. It was to do a predominately(?) green page. I found these papers in my stash. I didn't buy anything new for this LO, very pleased with myself.....
Don't mind the crooked paper ribbon up the top, it's supposed to be like that ;0)
I do have some cards that I made a few weeks back, I will share them soon.

A layout and some cuteness

Another new layout to share, another challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy forum. This one was to use at least eight elements, cardstock, pp, and six other things. So I have used bling, flowers, brads, lace, stickers and button. I like the way it turned out. Not the most flattering photo of us, Lilli took it one morning, me still in my jammies and Ryan is still actually in bed!!! But I do love it.
And how 'bout this for cute. Some gorgeous little shoes/slippers for Lara, from a wonderful friend, thanks Jules :) I think the are just adorable. I found out yesterday that little Lara has reflux which would explain alot of the screaming she has been doing!! It was really quite upsetting, the poor thing would scream for hours and I couldn't figure it out and felt a bit useless, but hopefully it should settle down a bit now.

Anyhow thats it for tonight, must be my bedtime LOL.

Some New Layouts

Hi there. Just some new pages to share.
This one is our new princess, Lara. My first LO of her all by herself!!
And our new family photo, I used the new october afternoon papers for both of these LO's. I just love the stripes!! I did scraplift this one. I found it here. I found some inspiration on this blog, just beautiful!!!

And this LO was for one of the monthly challenges over on the Scrapsidaisy Forum. It was to create a LO with a title that started with the letter 'A'. And Lilli does absolutely adore her new baby sister.

So thats my new stuff, I have been trying to get some more scrapping done, but it seems like I get the stuff done that has to be done (i.e. housework etc.) then I sit down to do some and I get a visitor or Lara wakes up or the phone rings!!!! and some days I just get stuck playing on the net. I just get little bits done here and there.
So anyway, thats all for now.

A New Baby Girl!!

Well since my last post I have had my baby, Lara, she was born on the 6th of July. Lilli was very happy that she got a baby sister and she loves her to bits!!! This photo was taken the day after she was born.
Here she is, I love her hair she has so much of it!! She is such a good baby, well most of the time LOL. I think they all have their moments.....

I don't have any scrapping to show at the moment, I have done a couple of pages but haven't taken photos yet.

Back Already!!!!

Well there is not a great deal else to do on a wet, cold winters day. Except play on the computer.
So here are my other LO's that I am pretty sure I haven't shared yet. The first LO I totally stole from the very clever Kristy, I just loved her LO and told her that I was going to copy it!!!! So she even found me the paper LOL. Thanks Kristy!! It has no journalling, but I just like it like that. The photo is Ryan and I going to my year 10 reunion.
This is Lil, there is some journalling explaining the story behind this one. Everytime we would visit Scrapsidaisy, the ladies would talk to Lil and she would not answer so they asked her if the cat had her tongue and then she would poke hers out so they could see it!!! One lovely lady, Georgie found this lolly pop and thought of Lil.

This one is a LO of me (and some nieces and a nephew) on my 28th birthday which was last year in october, but I only scrapped the photos not so long ago!!

Here is a LO about Lil on her first day of school, she really likes school and is always trying hard she is determined to get to the 2nd level in home reading. She told me last week she wants to read the level 2 books!! Her teacher said she is a great little student and always does good work.

And the last thing, is a little book I decorated for my favourite recipes that I love to cook, so they are all in one book. I print them out on coloured paper and paste them in as I find them LOL. Notice the cupcake paper on the front. Gives a slight hint about what recipes you might find in my little book!!!

So thats my latest work, hopefully I can get a bit more motivated and do some more to share very soon.

It has been a long time......

Hi all. Hope you are all well. I am well, just over 3 weeks now until my baby is due. Very excited and also nervous!! Lilli can't wait she is as impatient as me LOL.

I have not done a lot of scrapping lately, but I know I have more new LO's than this to share but I obviously haven't taken any pics of them yet. I will try and do that today, although the weather is not at all nice!!

Anyhow. Here is the birthday card I made for my neice. It was actually inspired by a challenge on the Scrapsidaisy Forum, for copycat cards, but I was a little slow and didn't post it on there (naughty am I) The challenge was to put the persons name on the front of the card.
This is my nephew, he is an absolute grub. But very adorable too!! Just a boy playing in the dirt, what a mess he made though.

So thats probably it for this post, I am going to see if I can find somewhere to take some pics of other LO's so I might surprise you all and do another post later in the day, or maybe tomorrow LOL.

I am Back !!

Hi there, Hope all is well where ever you are. I am good, I have moved house, got my computer back up and running properly, so I thought I should have an update.
I still have not done alot of scrapping, I have made a few cards to share and also a layout. But first my cards, because I still can't figure out which order they upload in!!!
A couple of thankyou cards for the people who helped me move house, I have made a few more thank you cards but did not get to photograph them.

A birthday card for my SIL, I bought some new stamps and had to have a test run, they are so cute, little cupcakes.

Here is a layout I done a week or two ago, my sister come around for the day and we scrapped. It was nice, I hadn't done a LO since I moved house. I also went out to Scrapsidaisy on Tuesday night and scrapped but I haven't loaded the photos on the puter yet!! You can't actually see faces on the photos on this LO, but it is my neices and Lil running and jumping in the pool making splashes, which is where the title came from!!!

And the last photo (which was supposed to be first!!) is my gorgeous girl, she received a special manners award at school, for always using her lovely manners, I think is what it says. I was very proud that she uses her manners because you know sometimes you don't hear them use them at home and wonder if they are actually listening when you tell them to say please or thankyou LOL.....

So thats about all my news at the moment, I am now 25 weeks pregnant and the weeks seem to be flying by, I am sure they will feel like they are dragging on the bigger I get LOL.

My Big School Girl

Ok, so I am a little late with these photos, but I would still like to share them. This is Lil on her first day of school, she is so cute in her uniform......She was such a good girl on her first day. This week is the first week she will be staying all day though, the kindys finish at 1.30pm for the first month.

So that was an exciting day for us. I have more exciting news. I am having another baby, due in July. Lil is looking forward to being a big sister and has already showed me how she can change her dolls nappy and all in one suit...... so she will be able to change it's bum. LOL

And just a little bit of something I have created, obviously a little while ago, but anyhow. I remember reading the quote at my auntys house years ago and now it just seems appropriate for mine LOL. I know I said I had some LO's in my last post but I haven't taken photos yet, and I am moving house. So maybe next time.......

Hi there Everyone, So I know this update was an extremely long time coming, but it's done now LOL, Thanks to some lovely friends who really thought it was time :0)).....

I had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I have done a few Layout's about Chrissy, we had a challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy forum. It was to complete 3 Christmas LO's in January, I think I completed it with about 3 days to spare!!!! Haven't started on the challenge for Feb. yet!!! So here are my layout's

Lil had a photo with Santa all by herself this year, I was relieved that I did not have to sit up there as well.

So I have some other news!! Lil has started big school (kindergarten), she seems to love it. We haven't had any complaints yet, except she got a little tired by the end of the first full week and didn't want to get out of bed on Friday morning. But there were no tears from either of us LOL.

I forgot to put on a photo, but I will try to upload one soon.

I just wanted to say that I am thinking about all the poor people in Victoria, who have lost homes and also alot of lives, in the bushfires. It must be devasting, it is hard to even imagine what they are going through...

That's about all for now I do have a few other LO's to share, but I will save them for another day, a bit sooner this time. I will try not to wait 2 months before my next post LOL :0)

A Few New Things

Hi there Everyone. Wow I have managed 2 posts in a month YAY...... lol.
Anyhow, here are a few of the things I have made.

My first little creation is a photo frame... It is a 'funky frame' by kaiser, I got them from my LSS, Scrapsidaisy, they come in a 3 pack and you can build and decorate them yourself. I have only made this one so far.
A few more Christmas cards... Wow it is getting so close, I love Christmas!!!!!!

I made this little box at my LSS, it was a class I did last week, and also some cards with the leftover scraps, I love the box, I think I might fill it with Lollies to put on my table for Chrissy.

So there you go, thats about it, that I have photos of anyway.

Oh and I am excited because I am going to another class by Kim Archer at Scrapsidaisy on the weekend, should be loads of fun, the sneak peaks look awesome!!!

I think I have fixed up all my links and stuff, it was not as big a job as I imagined LOL.
Anyhow, here are my first few Chrissy cards for this year, I quite like the way they have turned out. I used the embellishment box by Making Memories and also some of their pp and some Cosmo Cricket pp........
Its a start, not exactly sure how many I will need. I think I will go and write myself a list so I can get a bit organised!!!!

Ok Ok Time For a New Post

I thought I should update my blog because my friends tell me I am naughty for not updating it (HI KRISTY) LOL. I have done some scrapping, made a card for the copycat cards challenge and some other stuff but I wont post it all LOL.

My first Layout is a challenge on the Scrapsidaisy Forum and it's only about ummmm 4 weeks behind everyone else!!!!

This one is of Lil, she made herself and me out of playdough and then had to have a photo taken, I thought it was very cute and just had to scrap it!!

This is my beautiful goldfish, Sharkbait, you know after nemo!!!

Another of Lil, she is so cute.......

and last but not least my Copycat Card for this weeks challenge. This week we had to use beads. I have used micro beads and dimentional magic on my flowers I love the way the turned out, although it's probably a little hard to see in the photo.

So thats some of the things I have been doing lately.

I also entered some of my scrapping in the local show and I won a prize for the most successful exhibitor!!!! I was very excited about that!!

Also last night we had a 'girls night in' at Scrapsidaisy to raise money for breast cancer research, it was a fun night and for a very good cause and we reached our fundraising target YAAAAAY for us!!!!!

We Went to the Beach......

And it was absolutley freezing, Well for me it was. I did get my feet wet but thats about it!!! Lilli however absolutely loved it. It was such a beautiful day yesterday almost like summer. But the water was still just a little bit cold for me.
And now it is raining :0( . The day didn't start off too bad though. I made cookies this morning, 2 batches. Then we went to Bunnings and bought some plants to pot, I got some tomatoes, cucumbers and some strawberries, Lilli loves all of these so we planted some and then it rained so now they are getting some water.

Now this LO is a little late, or early, whichever way you want to look at it LOL. The photo is from last year but I think it's gorgeous!!
And this is the Little album I have been working on, well a couple of pages. It is Lilli when she was a tiny baby!! It is a Kaiser wooden album. I thought it turned out quite well.
I think that might be about all for today. I still haven't decided what to give away so I will do that another day. I hope all my SBS sisters are safe in the U.S. There are some horrible storms over there. And I hope all my other friends are safe and well too!!

Hi all!! I really can't believe how extremely fast this year has flown by!!! and soon it will be christmas (shhhh did I really type that LOL)
Any how I have been scrapping and stuff, I only have one LO to show you today though, I have been working on a mini album so when it's done I will show!!
This LO is my Mum and Lilli, they always have the best hugs.
And here is a card I have made for Copycat Cards, I haven't made one for a while but it's all up and running again so go check it out!! The challenge this week was to make a card using black white and orange. I used an image that I got in a stamp swap, the teddy is sooo cute!! and I cut the bottom off with my great photography skills LMAO.

Wow 2 days in a row!!

Well I did say that I would show you the layout I done, compliments of Kim Archer!! It is gorgeous I love it. I love the colours and the embellishments......There is actually two layers, the top one is a sheet of transparency that we scrapped on, and then placed over the bottom.
This is the bottom page, there is supposed to be journalling on there but I haven't decided exactly what I want to write yet!!! But you get the idea, and a very clever idea it is!
This is an old Milo tin that I have recycled and made into a "hair wear" tin, you know, hair bands, clips, bobby pins etc. They always seem to go missing in my house, I think that most of them might end up in Barbies hair LOL. So I decided if I put a lid on them little fingers probably won't be able to get them out (well thats the plan) See around the scallop around the bottom of the tin, that was made with my new fiskars scallop punch, I am most impressed with it.

Some new layouts.

Hi There. Well it's been about a month since my last post, but hey, I am still here LOL. I have still been creating and still working hard!! (most of the time) . And some sad news, My Nanna died a few weeks ago, she was 85. I have done a LO of her with my favourite photo, she really was the most beautiful Nanna.
So, anyways, here are a few new layouts.
The first one was a challenge on the Scrapsidaisy forum, I loved the LO it's great.

The next one is actually my first attempt at a 6 x12 page. I had some small photos and thought I would try something a bit different, I thought it turned out OK!!
This one is a kit from Scrapsidaisy, isn't it cute, designed by Kristy!! I thought that the photo of Lilli would go perfectly in the LO, isn't SHE cute!! I added a few extra buttons on mine and some bling. (of course) And this one is my Nanna, I love this photo of her.
On Saturday I spent the day at Scrapsidaisy, where the very talented Kim Archer was teaching us a few new tricks, it was such a great day. I would show you the LO except I left it at work LOL. I took it in today for show and tell, and it's still there. The guys are funny they just don't get it, but Allison likes to look. So when I get it I will take a pic and post it for you all to see!

We also made a mini album but mine is not quite done, I need to add just a few finishing touches. It really was great, I did learn some great new things.

Hello Again!!!!

How are you all!! Hope all is well. Sorry I haven't blogged for a while, sometimes life just gets in the way lol. I have been doing a bit of scrapping though, I have put a few up for you to have a look at.
For some reason I feel like I have hardly been home, I have been though, just busy I think.
I went to my mums for the weekend a couple of weeks ago and stayed on Friday and Saturday night. That was nice for a change, I hadn't been since March because my car was broken, just making up for lost time lol.
So anyway here is a couple of LO's to share. This first one is Lil, isn't she cute!!!!
My Nephew who turned 2 in June.

And Lilli again, she is my angel, she is gorgeous!!!!!
So thats what I have been up to besides working, and all the usual stuff. It's a bit freezing today, the wind is really cold! But it is winter LOL.

Hi there, How are you going, I hope somebody is getting some sun shine. The weather here is just plain miserable!!!!!! The sun hasn't been out for ages! LOL. You know I actually like rain just not 5 days straight!
Anyway enough about the weather, I have done a few new layouts. The first one was for a challenge on the Scrapsidaisy Forum, I think I am only about 5 behind everyone else now LOL.

And this one is of Lil doing what she does best, sleeping. I think she will be one of those kids that are hard to get out of bed in the morning LOL. And a quick thankyou to Jules for cutting out my title on her new machine LOL, it is awsome!!!
Thats about it, I am off to Scrapsidaisy this afternoon for some scrapping so maybe I will have something new to show soon. I best go and pick up The Princess from pre-school first though.

I am Still Here!!

Hi Everyone, I am still here, still alive and kicking LOL. I have been very busy, but not doing fun stuff LOL.
I have had an open house and so I spent the whole of last weekend weeding gardens (that really needed doing anyway) and tidying up bits and pieces in the house that don't always get done. I got the car bogged in the back yard, It had another trip to the mechanic and (fingers crossed) I haven't had any trouble since (praying that I dont jinx myself)
And I spent all day yesterday and today doing stocktake at work. Yaaaaay!!!!!
So anyway since it's a long weekend I still get tomorrow off and I am going to SLEEP IN!!!!!!!

I have done a little creating, I have been to Scrapsidaisy on Tuesday night for some scrap therapy LOL. It seems to be the only place I get any done lately.
The first page is my beautiful girl, she is so cool in her goggles and bikini!!!!
These photos are from Chrissy last year, Lil got a new double pram and a new baby boy doll, she wanted to take them for a walk almost straight away LOL. This page was a challenge over on the Scrapsidaisy Forum, It's always good to have a little inspiration!
And I think thats about all for now. Hopefully it will not be so long until my next post LOL.

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a great weekend. I went to the markets this morning, but I didn't find any goodies for myself today, just a few outfits for Lilli's barbies!
Anyways my first card is my entry for this weeks Copycat Cards challenge. The theme this week was Flutter and Flourish, and they are giving away a lovely little prize this week, you should have a go!!!!
My second card was for my 1 year old neice, the image is from Pink Petticoat, I coloured it with inks and water brush and then put a little kindy glitz over the top to add some sparkle, isn't it cute!!!
I have a few other things to show, but I might post them tomorrow.

I have been busy!

I really have been busy, working and scrapping and buying birthday presents LOL, I have 2 neices having a shared party tomorrow. So my first little creation is a card for Lauriel who turns nine and loves loves loves bags and shoes!!!! I got the image from Pink Petticoat and I thought is was just so adorable, I just coloured it with inks and water brush, then I put Kindy Glitz over the colour, turned out great if i do say so myself LOL. I still have to make Hailea's card, I had better hurry.
So next is a double LO, the photos are from Chrissy last year. I don't very often do doubles but I thought instead of doing a single page with 1 or 2 photos I could use them all. I know, I know genius aren't I, LMAO.
Now I was a little excited with this one because I won the monthly challenge at Scrapsidaisy and I received $20 to spend in the shop so I bought myself the 'build a flower' dies for my cuttlebug YAY, I actually built the dragonfly down the bottom corner. It turned out beautifully, I can see I will have fun with it. So yeah I was excited because I used the dies for the first time on this page, everybody understand that little ramble LOL.
I done this LO last weekend out at Scrapsidaisy, they held the card making/scrap day. I always have such a great time. I did finish another LO too but forgot to take a photo, never mind I will show you next time. And thank you to Kristy who introduced me to chalk. This was my first attempt, the swirls in the top left corner, it turned out very nice. I also added a bit of bling. Oh and about the photo, I simply could not get a serious one so I decided to use the craziest one LOL. Thats my daughter with the shirt off!!!!
Any ways I have also made 2 clocks for mothers day, but have not managed to get photos yet but I will before I give them away.

A couple of cards and a layout

Hi everyone hope all is well in your part of the world, I'm great, it is friday!!!!!
My first card is the card I made for this weeks Copycat card challenge, this weeks challenge was inside out, so we had to put what we would usually write on the inside on the outside. This is what I came up with lol.
The second card I made was from a sketch, for Beths blog candy. Beth is celebrating here 100th post with a lovely little package!!! This is my version of the the sketch it's quite bright I thought!!
And lastly this is a LO that I started at my LSS Scrapsidaisy, but I had to finish it at home, I must say thank you to Jules for helping me out, I was struggling a little bit and she helped me out!!
Any how thats all I have to show for now, but tomorrow I am off to the cardmaking and scrap day at Scrapsidaisy should be lots of fun!!!! Might have some more to show after that depends how much talking I do instead of scrapping LOL

A few different things.

Hope you are all having a great weekend, I am, a long weekend for me!!
My friend from Sydney came up for a surprise visit on Friday, I rang her to have a chat and she said " I am on my way up the coast". It has been a while since I had seen her so I quickly made this cute little magnet to give her! It was actually an old real estate magnet, you know the ones with calendars on them, well anyway I cut mine in half and decorated it.
Next is my Copycat Card for the week, it's a little late but I did make it. This weeks challenge was ' no paper shall be harmed' LOL. Which just meant we weren't to cut any full sheets of paper, we had to use scraps. Sorry about the photo its a little dark, the colours are much nicer IRL.
And last but not least is a LO of my little neice, who decided that she needed some mascara on, all over her face!!!! She is a cutie.
Thats about all I have to share for now. I promised Lilli we could go to the beach if the sun came out again today, so it looks like we will be going, the sun has been shining for 2 days in a row YAY. I had to catch up on about 2 weeks of washing yesterday ( maybe not quite I did use the clothes dryer a few times) I had lots!!!!
Oh and I had to take Lilli for her school needles yesterday, I was really worried that after she had the first one she would scream and not want the second one, but she was sooooo good, she didn't even say ouch!!!! There were no tears, no screaming, nothing. She just sat there calmly, I really couldn't believe it, neither could the doctor, lol. He gave her lollies and a pen!! She was really very good.

Just a quick LO of my neice Khloe, she wanted a photo taken of her teeth, or lack there of :0)))
Thanks to Jules for letting me use her cuttlebug baby face alphabet to make the title. See my lace, I went to the hub markets and I got about 1.5 metres for just 50 cents, bargain I thought!!
I got a couple of other goodies as well, I will show you another day LOL.

Bit of a Miserable Day

I can't believe it's still raining!! It has been raining for days it seems. But good for doing indoor things like scrapping!! But I was driving home from down the shops and it was raining so heavy I could barely see the road, it was a little scary, but I made it home safe lol.

Anyways here are a couple of LO's that I have finished through the week. The first one is my neice Lauriel, her and I went fishing early one morning while we were camping and she caught this fish all by herself, it was a bit small so we had to throw it back, but not before a photo.
This is a LO from our clown party, My sister and me, very very very bright LOL. I obviously wasn't thinking about scrapping the photos when I picked my outfit!!!!
Well I am off to have nice warm cottage pie and vegies for tea, mmmmmmmm comfort food. :0)

A Copycat Card with a window!!

The Challenge this week at Copycat Cards was to make a card with a window. This is the card I made for the challenge.
I stamped my butterfly onto a piece of clear thin plastic, ummmm dont know what it's really called, then i stuck it over my window and put some kindy glitz on it. Turned out quite nice I think!!!! lol.
I have done a few new LO's as well but haven't taken photos yet but i will soon. I have had to work a little later than usual this week so I haven't been home as much, but it's the weekend now, YAY!!!! and hopefully I will get some more stuff done.

Here are some new LO's I have just finished, the first one is my nephew. He is just so serious in the photo lol. I used grungeboard for the first time ever on this LO. I used my cuttlebug to cut out the word 'buddy', then I inked it with white ink. I like it!!
Here is a LO from Easter, when we went camping, Lilli is showing off her stash from the Easter Bunny.
I also made another card but haven't had a chance to take a photo yet.

My Copycat Card

This week the challenge for Copycat Cards, set by Kristy this week!!!, was 'Olympic Fever". Since the olympics are coming up soon, we had to make a card with our choice of any country's colours, i chose Yemen, red, white and black seemed easy at the time lol.
So any way here it is, not as easy as i thought!!! It was fun but, and i learnt alot about the flags of the world lol.

Hi there, just a couple of new LO's to share. I went out to the Scrapsidaisy card making and scrap day yesterday, the first LO 'fun in the sun' i didnt actually finish out there i had to bring it home to finish it, and i must say thankyou to Kristy for the beautiful flower on this LO. I did finish all but the journalling on the second LO. It was a great day, Scrapsidaisy has moved into its new home which is very very nice.
I must say i had a bit of trouble scrappping the photos in the second LO, lol, it was just so very colourful i didnt really know where to start, but i think it turned out pretty good.

Here, finally, is my Princess castle. It took me a little while to finish, but thats ok it's done now and Lilli has a nice little castle to put on the dresser and admire all the pictures of herself lol.
I made a couple of mistakes but i don't think it matters a great deal.

I printed out all B&W photos to put in it, cheating so i didnt have to match the photos with the pp. Here is a side view, i have decorated with flowers and some ribbons and more bling!!!

It's cute i think, and Lilli likes it, thats the main thing.

I think thats about all for today, hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was tooooo short lol.

But i am sure even if the weekends were 3 days long they would still be too short.

My Copycat Card Already!

LOL. Sorry i was excited, it seems like the past couple of weeks i was posting it on saturday or sunday.
Well anyway, the challenge over at Copycat Cards this week was 'to punch and stamp' (sounds a little bit like throwing a tantrum)
Yes well, here is my card, I have punched the circles out of the pp and glued them to the cream strip and stamped my thank you sentiment at the bottom.
