WOW Monthly Challenge

3:19 PM Edit This 2 Comments »
The challenge at WOW chipboard this month is a recipe challenge. Here are the ingredients.....
Here is my entry....A new baby cousin.
I have used Simple Stories, Baby Steps PP. Some Prima and MHC flowers. The title is a mix of Thickers and alphas I cut with my cuttlebug. I used my new doily die from Cheery Lynn Designs, that I absolutely love!!
My piece of WOW chipboard is the leaves, that I couldn't get the right colour. I started off spraying them with mist, then added some lime ink and they still didn't look quite right so added a little more of a darker green. They eventually turned out how I wanted!!
There is still time to enter if you would like to win some fabulous chippie.

That's it from me today!! Not as much scrappping going on here as I would like, but one has to work to earn money to spend on scrapping supplies LOL
 Thanks for looking

Tigerlilly....

8:16 AM Edit This 1 Comment »
I got to play with the Tigerlilly collection from Kaiser in my latest DT pack from Scrapsidaisy. It's so pretty, I love it!! (I say that about all paper LOL) But really it is. Lots of butterflies, flourishes and PINK!! The die cut pack is awesome with so many little bits and pieces. On this LO I have also used the wooden doily and the love heart sparklets.
This one I used alot of the die cuts to make layers around the photo. I also used the co-ordinating stamps for the flourishes in the corners. I actually got out my cricut to cut my title, that poor baby has been sitting collecting dust for a while!! I used crochet cotton for the stitching around the edges!
Scrapsidaisy still has Tigerlilly in stock if you need some of the gorgeousness :)
 A little detail....
and this LO is just a random 'for me' LO about my new car (that's a year old now) I love my car! I done it a little while ago, but just hadn't shared.
Hope you having a good weekend, we are off to Lil's school fete today. Should be fun, I don't think I have been to a fete since I was in primary school!! :O
Happy Sunday!

WOW Challenge

6:34 AM Edit This 1 Comment »
I joined in the WOW Chipboard challenge again this month. This month it was to do a LO using this colour palette. Aqua, Purple and Cream, and at least one piece of WOW Chippie. Ummmm seems easy enough, but gee I had a hard time finding purple paper in my stash!!
But, it all worked out beautifully in the end. Here is my entry for the challenge. I used an oval flourish frame (which I cut to pieces :O) and also the cutie butterflies. There is a mix of pp on there, the aqua is Prima, the purple is from a pack from the bargain shop and ummm that's all I know really!! The bling flourish is from ZVA. I got the beautiful purple flower from Scrapsidaisy.
This bling butterfly was attached to the flourish but I cut it off and stuck it to one of the WOW butterflies.
A little detail shot :) How pretty is the bling too, I love it.
That's all for today, time to get the kiddies organised for school and myself organised for work. Have a beautiful day.
Thanks for looking

New stuff....

Just 2 new pages to share today.
I done my first one for the Scrapbooking Supplies Online monthly sketch challenge but didn't upload it in time to actually enter, but anyways. I used Echo Park, This & That PP. Love it :) I mostly used my cuttlebug for the paper embellishments and just little bits and pieces from my stash. The title I thought was pretty cool, I used the Thickers that are adhesive on top and you can decorate however your little heart desires. I simply put glitter on mine to match the white sparkly flowers, but I love how they turned out!!
Here is a close up of some details, you can see the sparkly alphas....pretty!
For this LO I used some gorgeous Bo Bunny PP, Country Garden. I think the alphas are from a bargain shop. I used some little Rainbow Splendour butterflies on there as well, I just added a little bling to the bodies. Oh and I used my very new Martha Stewart punch for the scallops at the bottom, very cool!! The heart and flourish chipboard is from WOW, I have simply painted it white.
A detail shot :)
And I was super excited to win a prize for the LO that I done for the WOW monthly challenge. (The circles LO in my previous post) Whoop Whoop can't wait to receive those goodies!!

Now I don't know if my comments are working now or not, I did receive and email to say they weren't. I have made practice comments (LOL) and they appear to be working, but if you do try to leave me a comment and it doesn't work maybe you could just let me know so I can try fix it again please. You can find my email in the "View my complete profile" section.

Hope all is well in your part of the world, the last few days here have been just beautiful. It's Spring!!! Love it, my favourite time of year *sigh*

Scrap The Girls

7:56 AM Edit This 1 Comment »
I decided to join in the Scrap the Girls challenge this month. I don't always get time to join in the challenges I like, but I have a week of work so decided I would play while I had the chance! This month was to use stars. Here is my entry...

I got messy with this one, I used paints, texture paste, glimmermist, stamping/embossing. It was good fun!
I used the Simple Stories PP again. The chippie stars are from a packet I got at the Reject Shop and  I got the lace from the markets yesterday morning, the doily and buttons are from my stash.

Happy Sunday!!

Simple Stories......

9:23 PM Edit This 2 Comments »
I have used Simple Stories PP for both of these LO's.
The first range is a bit boyish and called Awesome. Now this is something I don't do very often, a 'boy-ish' or 'man-ish' page LOL I think I like it, not sure!
Anyways, there is also some WOW chippie on there and the title is Thickers. I inked them and then made small marks on them to make them look a little bit distressed.
And this one is using the Simple Stories, Fabulous, a girly range that I really like! I made this one for a WOW challenge. It was to use circles. I used some more WOW chippie (the circle with flowers) and also the circle altaMATZ.  I sprayed the background with Glimmermist and paint for the hearts. There is some Bella bling, cute little dragonflies and swirls.  I also used some Rainbow Splendour chevrons and butterflies. I done some sewing on this one too.
Here's a close up of the chipboard that I painted and then put some stickles on and then dimensional magic to give it a bit of shine.
Well that's all I have to share for tonight.
I'm looking forward to the weekend...no plans really just looking forward to being a home body :)
Enjoy your weekend.

Hello August......

Been scrapping away again and I also have a couple of cards to share as well.
First up, my cutie girls, they are good friends most of the time. They have their moments as I'm sure most kiddies do.
I have used October Afternoon PP. I made my own little crochet flowers and hearts. The title is a chippie title from WOW, I have painted it and then put some stickles on it as well for a little bit of glitter.
The next one is a page I done for the Scrapsidaisy Design Team. It was available in a kit, but it is all sold out !!
Here is a close up of my handmade flowers on the page. I have layered PP and (OMG I can't remember the name of the material) but they seem to have a little bit of sparkle that I thought looked pretty cool.
I recently went to a Stampin' Up demo and we made these cute little punch art animal cards. The frog is my fave, because I love them!! Isn't he cute??
and the owl is pretty cute too huh. Was good fun!!
I made this card for a four year old lil' princess. I coloured  in the image with inks and water pen. I used Kaiser and Prima PP and My favourite things sentiment stamp. I'm not sure what kind of stamp the little girl is, she was given to me by a friend already stamped.
That's all for today. Now I need to go sort out scrap desk because I'm not sure there is even a 12 x 12 square space for me to work in :/ Such a mess!!
Anyways.....

New Stuff!

Got a few new LO's to share today!
Don't the months just fly by July already, and it's nearly finished too!!
So here are my latest creations. First up a LO of Lilli, the photo is about a year old and I loved it as soon as I took it, not sure why it took me so long to scrap it LOL
I have can't even remember what patterned paper it is, I'm thinking it's Kaiser but don't quote me on that!! There is some gorgeous Jules Gems metal embellies and flowers and also some Prima flowers too. The title is a WOW chipboard title that I have painted.
This is my gorgeous niece all ready for her Yr 6 farewell. I have glimmermisted the paper doily and also splattered some on the background. The PP is MME lime twist. Lots of other bits and pieces too. Such a beautiful girl, she is!
I used a Pagemap for the next one, I was needing a bit of inspiration and loved how it turned out!! The PP is Bo Bunny, Country Garden. Very pretty, got leftovers so will have to do another LO with it. More glimmermist on this one, some stamping too. More Jules Gems on there and random flowers. The title is Thickers and Cosmo Cricket tiny type. This is our crazy girl Lara!!
Next up our cat George. I think this is his first LO! I done this one at a 12 hour crop at a LSS, Scrapawhile,  a couple of weekends ago, My friend Jules gave me the PP out of a Tim Holtz paper pad. I embosssed the script on it and the rest is pretty basic but I love the colours despite the old blue and green saying!!
And my very latest creation....another one of Lilli, if you can see her in there. The PP is Kaiser Fine and Sunny. I love this paper so bright and fun. I used my first Rainbow Splendour pinwheel, so cute!! I purchased a few things from the last sale, I love it all! The title is the matching Fine and Sunny alpha stickers.
This photo was actually taken at the end of January this year, in the middle of Summer!! and Lil's all rugged up like the middle of Winter!
That's all for now.
I do have a few cards to share as well so I will be back soon to do that.
Thanks for looking

A FB challenge...

12:53 PM Edit This 1 Comment »
The second challenge this month at Crafty Crops on Facebook was a white with one challenge. Obviously I chose pink. I really enjoyed doing this one, although when you have 2 girls it does seem kinda easy to pick pink!! LOL But anyways I love the result!
This is Lara with our kitten Tinkerbell, who she always called Diddy, watching TV. That kitty was the most patient animal she would just sit quietly until Lara let her go. There is some journalling on the back of the LO to explain all this as well.
First I sprayed the background with some Glimmermist and them stamped a little bit on there too. I used the Kaiser Bubblegum Hills paper pad, it had the perfect pink and white pp for this challenge. The alphas are some old Heidi Swapp I had in my stash. There's a tiny WOW butterfly on there, they are my new favourite little thing, but that was the last one, must invest in another packet!! There's ZVA pearls and also Basic Grey bling on there. I also used my new Nesties, the Fleur De Lis Rectangles, I love 'em!! Oh and some random buttons.

That's all I have to share today, but I do plan on working on something new this afternoon. Have a scrappy weekend :)

Something Different!

12:15 PM Edit This 0 Comments »
Just a quick share today.
On the weekend a good friend of mine showed me how to make this scarf,  I reckon it took me about an hour maybe an hour and a half in between cooking dinner. It's made with special wool that is a bit like netting and I have no idea what it's called but feel free to inform me ;) You only knit with 4 stitches, (or I think you can also use 6) super easy, but very pretty!!
Isn't she the best model?!! Super gorgeous.
I found this website on the packaging, it's a wholesale site but you can see the wool there if you want to find some for yourself!
Thanks for stopping by.

Scrappin' up a storm!!

9:29 AM Edit This 0 Comments »
I having been working quite so much lately and I have been filling up my free time by scrapping my little heart out LOL It's been awesome!!
First up I have a couple of DT pages for Scrapsidaisy. This first one I have used Graphic 45, Little Darlings. It's beautiful! The tags and button are the chipboard that match the collection. It's available in a kit or you can purchase the bits individually.
This one is available in a kit. A beautiful mix of black, white and silver and includes everything you need to complete this LO. Except a white gel pen and adhesives ;)
This is my niece, isn't she a cutie!! She was cracking up when I was trying to take her photo.
This was an old challenge pack I dug out from my stash. I have really been trying to use what I have here at home. Less work = Less spending money :(
But anyways, not my colours at all, but I do love the way it turned out. There is some hidden journalling behind the photo. It tells the story of the Bazinga title. Who has seen the episode of The Big Bang Theory with Sheldon and the ball pit??
Next up is a page I done for a challenge on Facebook, Crafty Crops, I think it's too late to enter now unless you can whip up a vintage page before 7pm tonight, I just finished mine last night :/ But stop by and check out the page anyways and maybe join in the next challenge!
I used October Afternoon and Graphic 45 PP, ZVA bling, some misting, my crocheted heart and some gorgeous goodies from Jules Gems. I busted out the sewing machine too.
I actually done this next LO before the last one so technically I busted out the sewing machine for it first LOL But yeah I was loving it this week.
This is my Nan and Me. This was the last photo I ever had taken with her :( hence the title.
I have used Kaiser, Pink Gelato PP some WOW chippie butterflies, Prima and other assorted flowers and some more Jules Gems, have you been to check out her FB store yet??
I also used paint on the background, just in case you didn't notice LOL
And that's it for now.
Hope your all having a fabulous weekend. I intend to spend the rest of mine scrapping a bit more doing the washing or something else that exciting!!
Thanks for looking
Beckie

P.S. Please leave me comment if you drop by! Or do I really just have one friend?? :/

March Already!!

8:06 AM Edit This 1 Comment »
Wow this year is just flying by too fast. Easter is just a month away and then it will be Christmas!!  LOL
Anyways no matter how fast the time goes, I have been finding time to fit in some scrapping. This first LO is my biggest baby girl, such a gorgeous thing she is, takes after her Mumma :P I used Graphic 45 pp, a beautiful paper doily that I found in one of the bargain shops, some Prima flowers and a mix of other flowers. The tag is a Kaiser tag and some thickers for the title.
Now I'm not exactly sure what the PP is on here. It's an older kit that I pulled out and really wanted to use. I know the background paper is from Pink Paislee. There is some nice little metal embellies on there, that I got from Jules Gems, and also the crocheted flower. The title I cut with the cuttlebug from foam and them put some glossy accents on to make it nice and shiny!! This is a LO of my youngest baby girl, just for the record!
And then *shock* a boys page!! My newest little nephew.
I used October Afternoon, Ducks in a Row pp. He also got flowers and bling because I
don't seen to be able to help myself!! I used Thickers for the title.
That's about it for today. Hope you are safe where ever you are in the world. Have a lovely weekend :)

Just a couple of new creations to share today.

There's a little bit of bling on there, some stamping, some distressing and some sewing!
I also used a pagemap for this one too, I was on a roll LOL
There is a whole mix of stuff on there, I used scraps actually!! There's some misting and
some more distressing. I liked how this one turned out :)
and finally a birthday card for my sister. I used the 6x6 Kaiser Candy Lane paper pad. Nice and bright and fun!!
Hope there is some sunshine where you are. I am most definately over the rain, although it is good weather for scrapping!
